Between 26th and 31st December six women will race each other on cargo bikes over 1000km between Edinburgh and Copenhagen. They will each ride with a teammate, taking it in turns to be rider then cargo with the joint goal to keep moving 24/7 in order to reach Copenhagen before New Year.

The aim is to highlight the global race against time with regards to Climate Change.

All three teams will self-film from thier bikes along the way while a media crew follows along on electric bikes in order to live post film and photography via our channels.

Edinburgh and Copenhagen City Councils have both announced ambitious plans for their respective cities to be carbon neutral by 2030 but climate change is a global crisis. We want to support and encourage our capital cities to act in socially responsibility ways but we also want to highlight what the human being is capable of achieving. We want to challenge ourselves in a way that encourages, inspires and enables others to make their own change.

Of course it would be easier to fly to Copenhagen but where’s the fun in that?
