Paula is a competitive triathlete and cyclist with a particular love of light-weight cycle touring and racing. She wanted to see how fast she could cycle around the world (well, 18000 miles from east to west of some bits of the world) to beat the current record of 144 days. Unfortunately before she set off she broke her ankle on a training ride. She is now part of the Adeventure Syndicate's Quad Race Team and is concentrating on shorter bikepacking events such as the 2500km long Trans Atlantic Way Race and Transcontinental Race. Last year she finished the Trans Atlantic Way in 7.5 days, placing 3rd overall and first women.
Former London bike courier and award-winning author, Emily is also the women's record holder in the Transcontinental Bike Race. She has travelled the world by bike and is a cold- weather fat-biking veteran having ridden solo from Alaska to Canada in winter. Co founder of The Adventure Syndicate.
Former British Mountain Bike Champion and Commonwealth Games athlete turned self-supported mountain bike adventurer, Lee has spent the last 15 years using outdoor adventurous activities to make disadvantaged young people feel better about themselves. Co founder of The Adventure Syndicate.
