Roll up, roll up! The first Adventure Syndicate Hostel Hop awaits.
Hostel Hops are our answer to the self-supported ‘rally’ style event. You’ll have a set destination each day and a collection of routes, but you'll be free to hurry or haver as you please. We’ll regroup each night for a communal, hearty and home-cooked meal
We will meet in Aviemore on Saturday morning and spend 3 days circumnavigating (or if you prefer, going straight over!) the Cairngorms in blissful early summer with the long lovely daylight* (*weather not guaranteed).
Day 1: Aviemore to Pitlochry YH (85km off road,95km road)
Day 2: Pitlochry to Braemar YH (70km off-road, 60km road
Day 3: Braemar to Aviemore YH. (60km MTB, 70- 75km off-road, 70km road)
This route is an absolute beaut! Think rolling ribbons of golden double track through the mountains, ancient Caledonian pine, vast glens, swims in the clearest of waters at the Linn of Avon and Linn of Dee, and plenty of single track to keep you interested.
Hostel beds in dorms are provided at Pitlochry, Braemar and Aviemore hostel (on the final night). Breakfast and Dinner and a daily beer from Dog Falls Brewing is provided. Hostels are blooming’ brilliant: warm, communal, drying facilities and secure bike storage.
While we aren’t leading or guiding any of the ride, 2 of us will be riding with you each day, with one sweeper, while a third will be carting food and the TAS collie dog. So while you’ll be able to navigate your way between hostels, you won’t be out there alone!

Getting There
Our events are all planned around mainline public transport destinations and heartily encourage travel by train, bus, or carpooling. We’ll set up a WhatsApp group in advance for organising lift sharing.
Who is this for?
Any women, trans and non-binary folk who like riding bikes, having an adventure and meeting like-minded others. People who have the means and confidence to use a GPS device, can contend with standard mechanicals like punctures, and who reckon they’ve got 60-80km in their legs for 3 days.
How much does it cost?
The trip costs £390 and this can be paid in one or 3 instalments. We’ll collect £130 now and 2 more instalments of every 8 weeks or so.
