Waddow Hall, Clitheroe, Lancashire

Founded in 2014 by Adventure Syndicate director Laura Moss, the Cycle Touring Festival is now a firm favourite among cyclists of a nomadic bent, and a very welcome chance to get together with like-minded souls, talk about panniers, tents, stoves and headwinds, and compare notes on all the exotic and prosaic places we've taken our bicycles.

As well as workshops there will be talks, films, competitions and an open mic session, plus an abundance of simple, hearty cycling food, endless cups of tea, and all the cake you can eat.
